King’s Chamber Choir

On Sunday 12th March, the King’s Chamber Choir performed in a concert with the Hale Light Orchestra in Padgate Methodist Church.

We gave a performance of a variety of musical styles featuring music from stage, screen, pop, gospel and traditional choir music.  They performed and sang beautifully.  The choir enjoyed hearing and watching the live orchestra play their pieces which consisted of opera, folk arrangements and TV themes to name but a few.

This was the first public performance given by the chamber choir and it will certainly not be their last.  Many of the singers will soon be singing in Belgium on our first music tour.  The chamber choir is an auditioned choir for a small group of voices where we sing challenging repertoire.
