My interest in Maths stems from my interest in problem solving and the challenging content offered in the subject.

My interest in Maths stems from my interest in problem solving and the challenging content offered in the subject. The maths teachers at King’s use a step by step approach to teaching, teaching you everything you need to know at varying levels to help you master fundamental mathematical skills. Since studying at King’s, I feel that my belief in myself has really grown. I am particularly proud of my exam results as they help me see how far I have come and highlight my progress. in the future, I hope to prove my endeavour and improve my exam results across the curriculum.

The ASPIRE code is followed enthusiastically at King’s and compliments our ASPIRE sessions that make us aware of current social, economics and political situations.

I participate in Jiu Jitsu as part of the varied King’s curriculum. This unique and varied sport introduces us to skills such as self-defence, physical discipline and different approaches to attack and throw your opponent. The ASPIRE code is followed enthusiastically at King’s, a value of which is respect. I believe Jiu Jitsu teaches students at King’s how to respect one another with rituals such as bowing to the Sensei at the beginning and end of lessons.

My ambition is to become an architect, allowing me to use my passion for maths on a day- to -day basis, calculating building dimensions and designing scale drawings of buildings. I have been offered many different opportunities whilst at King’s, including visits to the prestigious Oxford and Cambridge Universities. I would like to study architecture at university as work experience is essential to most courses, which really appeals to me as work experience is very important for my flight path.
