Miss L Beales

Y7 Year Leader

In 2013, I graduated with a 2:1 from the University of Chester with a degree in Criminology. For the six months post university, I worked abroad, in Italy, for a ski company, specializing in school and college groups. Whilst there, I worked hard training towards my BASI Level One Alpine Instructor Qualification and attempted to hone my Italian speaking skills. After this, I continued with my Scuba Diving education in Turkey and qualified as a PADI Rescue Diver. Once back in the UK, I worked within a local secondary school in both the exams and cover office. I have also volunteered with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets for several years and through this, achieved my Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award and an Institute of Leadership and Management Qualification, for which I am now studying at Level 5. With the above and my love for the outdoors, led me to my current role, as a Personal Development Officer at Kings, facilitating training across the Trust for the CCF and supporting DofE expeditions. Seeing young people achieve and succeed is one of the most satisfying parts of the job, as well as seeing all of our CCF contingents grow and mature, year on year.
