My career in education is a journey filled with challenges, growth, and incredible experiences. I've been in the education field for nearly 25 years now, starting from the bottom as an office junior and working my way up to becoming a crucial part of the senior leadership team. I'm currently the Operations Manager, and I absolutely love what I do, especially here at King's Leadership Academy.
Education has always been my passion. From a young age, I was fascinated by the power of learning and its ability to transform lives. I threw myself into my studies, eager to soak up as much knowledge as I could, laying the groundwork for my future endeavors.
My professional journey kicked off as an office junior, where I dove headfirst into the world of education. I was hungry to learn, to make a difference, and to contribute in any way I could. Every task, no matter how small, was an opportunity for me to grow and prove my worth.
As the years passed, I seized every opportunity for advancement, gradually climbing the ladder of success within the education sector. From administrative roles to leadership positions, each step of the journey presented its own set of challenges and learning opportunities. But through hard work, dedication, and a relentless drive for excellence, I carved out a niche for myself and earned the trust of my colleagues and superiors.
Seeking new challenges and experiences, I made the bold decision to relocate to London back in 2010, a city renowned for its vibrant educational landscape. The move pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it also opened doors to new opportunities and experiences that ultimately shaped me into the professional I am today. London taught me resilience, confidence, and the importance of embracing change.
My journey led me to King's Leadership Academy, where I found my professional home. Here, amidst a culture of innovation and collaboration, I flourished in my role as Operations Manager. I relish the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of the academy, ensuring that every student has the support they need to thrive.
