Mrs S Graham

Assistant Principal

I am passionate about physical education and working with young people. It was my desire to teach that led me to study a PE, Sport and Dance Honours degree at Liverpool John Moores University. I believe that PE plays a key role in pupils’ academic, physical, social and moral development, and that setting high standards will assist children in their personal approach to life. I also believe that it is our responsibility to motivate young people to continue lifelong participation in physical activity. I was a member of the England Lacrosse Squad for many years, representing England in three European Championships and two World Championships, of which I am very proud. I believe that my experiences enable me to guide students at King's in their personal development and aspirations in sport.

At King's we believe in developing excellent character and leadership qualities in our students. We continually offer the opportunity to lead which develops their personal drive and determination to succeed. The ASPIRE values help to build the strength of character in each of our students so that they can achieve academic success and leave us as outstanding citizens. I am always impressed by the values demonstrated by student's at King's and as the Director of Specialism I love to see the development of their character in and outside the classroom.
