Mr M Garrity

Head of PE

I have been dedicated member of the King's Leadership Warrington community for over a decade. My tenure within this esteemed institution has afforded me the opportunity to pursue my passion for education and mentorship.

During my formative years at Liverpool John Moores University, I diligently pursued academic excellence, culminating in the attainment of a First-Class Honors degree in Physical Education, Sport, and Dance. This academic foundation serves as the bedrock for my current endeavors, wherein I am privileged to shape the minds and bodies of our youth.

Beyond the confines of the classroom, I am actively engaged in the sport of rugby, representing Widnes RUFC. Rugby, to me, transcends mere athletic competition; it embodies a profound passion. It is this passion that propels me to contribute meaningfully to the development of junior athletes as a coach within the club.

At the heart of my professional ethos lies a commitment to character education. I fervently believe in imparting not only academic knowledge but also the values and skills essential for life's journey. Thus, I am deeply invested in fostering opportunities for students to cultivate healthy, active lifestyles beyond the confines of formal education.

Within the corridors of King's, my aim is to cultivate an environment wherein learning extends far beyond the confines of textbooks. I endeavour to create a supportive atmosphere wherein every student is empowered to realize their full potential, both academically and personally.

Whether on the field or within the classroom, my overarching goal remains constant: to inspire excellence and effect positive change in the lives of those under my guidance.
