Miss C Hutton

Attendance Officer

My working life started in a high school at the young age of 16. Just after finishing my final year of Secondary School, I worked as a Youth Worker at Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School in the after school Youth Club. This was where I realised I wanted to pursue a career working in a secondary school. I enjoyed working in the school environment, developing children as individuals and the aspect of no working day being the same so I was delighted when I was offered a position at King’s Leadership Academy.

Before I joined King’s in April 2014 as an Administrator, I was working at Warrington Housing Association in a work based Apprenticeship. During my time at Warrington Housing, I attended a variety of training courses to broaden experience and gained many qualifications/certificates, such as Beginners & Intermediate in Microsoft Word, Beginners & Intermediate in Microsoft Excel and Making Every Contact Count Training etc. I also completed Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration. Now after working here at King’s for nearly 4 years I have progressed into the Attendance Officer role, which I thoroughly enjoy!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, and aim to carry out and maintain an active lifestyle; I am a keen runner and avid gym user. I love to travel and go on holidays exploring!  Another love of mine is History; I enjoy watching documentaries particularly on Egyptology, World War 2 and The Holocaust. I have been fortunate enough to go to Poland where I visited the concentration camps Auschwitz and Birkenau. This was such a life changing experience! Also, I am firm believer in serving and helping the community so in my free time I like to carry out voluntary work for a variety of charities.

After being at King’s since 2014, it has been a pleasure to see the school evolve and grow from strength to strength! It is a delight to welcome a new cohort each year in an environment where we see students thrive and the instilled ASPIRE values shining through them as Young Leaders. I am also very privileged to be part of a hardworking and committed line of staff at King’s. King’s is an exciting chapter in my life and I intend to thoroughly enjoy my working life and experience here. I am so proud to have been chosen to be a part of a school, which I truly believe is special and one of a kind.
