Respect is my favourite ASPIRE value because it demonstrates how everybody should be treated the same. This value helps me because it shows me that if somebody is respectful and appreciates me they will always have my support. Friendships that work this way are so very important and I’m very thankful to have them, both in and out of school.
In school, Mrs Hackett respects me by giving me time to explain my thought process when I’m solving an equation. I am also shown respect when people give me the chance to speak my thoughts and opinions. In the future, I would like to be an actress for television, movies or stage productions. The value of respect will help me in this career because I will need to gain the respect of casting directors and cast mates. I will endeavour to earn this respect by giving good performances and developing good relationships.
